During PE this year, how have you shown you are prepared and willing to participate
in a variety of activities? On what days have you participated to your best effort and
why? What days have been a struggle for you and why?
- I always have my strip and I arrive to class on time. I participate to my best effort every class because I enjoy active learning and want to improve my fitness and strength, and this is a big part of how I improve. I only struggle on days where I'm feeling ill or injured.
How do you contribute to the overall success of the class? What kind of attitude do
you bring and why? How do you interact with other students in our class?
- I try to motivate others who aren't doing the activities and work my best. I don't normally get brought down by negative energy and work near the people who have a positive attitude and are motivated. Normally I bring a not very motivated attitude to class. I don't normally interact with others in our class, but I interact with them positively. I attempt to motivate them.
Describe your participation during fitness days - have you been able to push yourself
physically? What types of fitness activities do you enjoy the most? What fitness
goals do you have for the rest of the year?
- During fitness days, I work to my best potential, which isn't all that good, but I have been able to push myself. I enjoy the beep test and the pond run most for fitness days. I enjoy dancing fitness activities like zumba. For fitness goals, I want to improve my fitness and make my legs stronger. I also want to be able to participate to my best ability and not give up.
What does "leadership" mean to you? Who are the best leaders in our class - why?
- Leadership to me is when you help others out and stand up like a figure to look up upon. When you are able to motivate others and have the ability to teach others things they don't know and act like a teacher when needed. The best leaders in our class are Kavita and Hazel in my opinion. They are both motivating and don't give up and quit during fitness days and participate during normal P.E days as well and bring positive attitudes to class.
What improvements would you like to make in PE by the end of the year? What are
you the most proud of so far?
- I would like to improve my overall fitness by the end of the year and make my body a bit stronger. I also want to lose a bit of weight. I am most proud of my fitness improving little by little so far.
Finally, what letter grade A, B, C+, C, C- (gulp) best represents the effort you just described?

Yay Maya!! Thanks for your post. I am glad you are slowly improving and starting to more positive towards fitness. I have seen you several times with a bright red face and that is what we are after. Keep looking for the good in class and pushing yourself. As your body improves so will your confidence in it.
